Meet the Sisters behind Royal + Reese
Welcome to the Sisterhood of Royal + Reese!
When we say sisterhood, we literally mean sisterhood. Tara, Whit, and Kait are the three sisters who created Royal + Reese, the women and children's clothing boutique we know and love!
With how much they work together these days, it's hard to believe that Tara, Whit, and Kait weren't very close growing up. But with the differences in their ages (Tara is 6 years older than Whit and 9 years older than Kait), they seemed to always be in different stages of life. But that changed when the three sisters had the unique opportunity to live together while Whit and Kait were going to college. Can you imagine? 3 sisters in 1 house for 4 years? That would definitely lead to fun times and lasting memories!
Years later, Whit was sharing her frustration with finding cute baby boy clothes with Tara, who was always coming home with cute baby girl clothes (they had babies six days apart!) and an idea came to them... they should create their own children's clothing boutique! And voilà! Royal + Reese was born! Since then, it has grown into a children's AND women's clothing boutique. With the women's clothing, the sisters have made it their mission to dress postpartum moms to feel beautiful and confident in their bodies while still being comfortable. The women's line is actually their best seller!

TARA - the Oldest Sister
Tara is the oldest sister and does "all things business" for R+R including the accounting and taxes. She lives in in Normal, IL (across the street from her sister Whit!) with her family and has 3 daughters of her own and one perfect little son. Here's a little more about her!
"What is your favorite drink?"
I love iced tea or Dr. Pepper.
"You have 1 hour all to yourself, what do you do?"
Typically I watch recorded shows on my DVR to unwind or scroll social media. If I have enough time, I take a trip to Target alone.
"What is your favorite piece from R+R?"
My current favorite piece is the Malley from Sharon's collection. Hard to choose just one but that's currently my fave due to all the detailing on the sweater.
"What is your favorite thing about working with your sisters?"
Since there was such a big age gap growing up, I felt like we were never close till they were in college. So now I feel like were making up for lost time because I get to work everyday with my best friends. They're also the people that make me laugh the hardest and always accept me for me.
"How would you described your younger sister Whit?"
Whit is the calm to me and Kait's storm. She is the steady stable in the midst of chaos. She is loyal to a fault, solution oriented, and the peacemaker of the group. She's an amazing mom, has great boundaries for her family time, and is a very intentional gift giver.
WHIT- the Middle Sister

I am coffee obsessed, and I LOVE a good iced carmel oatmilk latte.

I take a magnesium bath and listen to the Belonging Co podcast.

It's always a fun time, and I know we always have each other's backs.

Vivacious, infectious, a lot of fun, intentional, and a very kind heart.

KAIT- the Youngest Sister
Kait is the youngest sister and is the clothing buyer and manages the marketing and strategy for R+R. She lives in Nashville with her husband. Let's see some of Kait's favorites!
"What is your favorite drink?"
My favorite drink is an Arnold Palmer.
"You have 1 hour all to yourself, what do you do?"
If I have 1 hour to myself, I love to read a book on my back patio with wine.
"What is your favorite piece from R+R?"
My favorite piece I've ever owned from R+R is this fleece shacket we had called the Isabella. It sold out in minutes every time. We may or may not be restocking it.. SOON! :)

I love that my sisters & I all work so well together. When we're together were constantly laughing. It makes work so much fun, and doesn't feel like work.

She's driven, organized, detailed, and goal oriented. On a personal level she's thoughtful, loyal, and loves to make you feel special any chance she can. She's very intentional with her kids ,and all her friends.
