Favorite Apps

A typical Sunday morning consists of me lying in bed until the last possible moment before I need to get up and get ready for church. As I’m flying around my house looking for clothes, trying to find a hairstyle that works, or the watch I just wore last night, I have music playing on the Bose speaker in my bathroom. When I’m five to ten minutes out, I grab my phone and get on my Starbucks app and order my coffee. Then, I quickly make my way down the stairs in my house and out to my car.

As I pull up to Starbucks, the line is around the corner, so much so, I can’t even get in the parking lot, so I opt to park on the side street. I grab my keys, my wallet, and take another glance down before ultimately deciding to grab my phone. What if my coffee isn’t done yet and I have to wait? I’ll need something to do. I thought to myself before I headed in to get my already ordered Cold Brew with Salted Caramel Cold Foam coffee, before heading to church.

I use my phone so much, that I almost feel strange without it. Yes, there are times that I put it down or unplug, but those times are few and far between. What am I doing so much on my phone, you ask? Well, let me tell you about my favorite apps this month!

Royal + Reese - OF COURSE this is going to be my number one favorite! We are still working on making things easier for you all, as far as notifications, auto invoicing and more to live videos, but in the meantime, check it out. You’re able to cruise the website, but in app form! You can keep up to date on latest blogs, looks, posts, and sales. And of course, we will keep you updated as we continually work on these new, fun features!

Instagram- This is perhaps where I spend majority of my time when I’m cruising social media. In my opinion, I’d much rather see photos and quotes of things vs. reading questionable things like that of facebook. If I’m waiting anywhere, I usually have my phone open to this, perusing what my family, friends, or favorite bloggers are up to.

My Fitness Pal- Since April, I’ve been on a big fitness journey and that means tracking everything I’m eating. This has become the best tool for me to do so. I pay for the premium access, but you can do so much with just the free version as well. I log each and every bite of food into this app and it helps keeps me on track and my macros in check.

Starbucks- Because I need that Starbucks Cold Brew with Salted Caramel Cold Foam on Sundays and I don’t want to have to wait. I can just get on the app, choose the closest Starbucks to me, fill out my order, and pick it up! It’s that simple. Or, maybe I’m in line at the drive thru and I realize I forgot my wallet. I can hook up my debit card to the app and pay with the app.

Spotify- I use Spotify during work hours, in my car, at the gym, etc. It’s rare if my house is completely quiet. With Spotify, I can listen to many artists, or mix it up with stations based on what my listening repertoire has been. It puts together playlists and allows me to ‘like’ music so I can find it easily for next time I want to hear it. I can get my fill of podcasts and what can I say, it’s just the app that’s mostly in use here at my house.

There you have it. Those are the apps I'd be lost without on a daily basis. What kinds of apps do you use everyday? Maybe apps that have made your life easier? We’d love to hear about them!
